Indian indices opened lower on October 30 amid mixed global cues.
The Sensex was down 171.35 points or 0.27 percent at 63,611.45, and the Nifty was down 49.10 points or 0.26 percent at 18,998.20. About 1288 shares advanced, 933 shares declined, and 151 shares unchanged.
Cipla, BPCL, SBI Life Insurance, Reliance Industries and Hindalco Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Bajaj Finserv and Britannia Industries.
