Benchmark indices ended higher for the second consecutive session on October 30 with Nifty around 19,150.
BPCL, UltraTech Cement, ONGC, Reliance Industries and SBI Life Insurance were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UPL, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto and Axis Bank.
On the sectoral front, except auto and FMCG, all other sectoral indices ended in the green.
The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices ended on a flat note.

निफ्टी पर बीपीसीएल, अल्ट्राटेक सीमेंट, ओएनजीसी, रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज और एसबीआई लाइफ इंश्योरेंस प्रमुख लाभ में रहे, जबकि यूपीएल, टाटा मोटर्स, मारुति सुजुकी, बजाज ऑटो और एक्सिस बैंक घाटे में रहे।
सेक्टोरल मोर्चे पर, ऑटो और एफएमसीजी को छोड़कर, अन्य सभी सेक्टोरल सूचकांक हरे निशान में बंद हुए।
बीएसई मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप सूचकांक सपाट नोट पर बंद हुए।
