Indian indices opened flat on September 26 amid mixed global cues.
The Sensex was up 7.93 points or 0.01 percent at 66,031.62, and the Nifty was up 6.40 points or 0.03 percent at 19,680.90. About 1271 shares advanced, 624 shares declined, and 119 shares unchanged.
Eicher Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Consumer, L&T, JSW Steel were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Apollo Hospitals, TCS, Asian Paints, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Axis Bank.
