Gold yesterday settled up by 0.64% at 59266 as the U.S. labour market shows signs of cooling. Job openings, a measure of labour demand, dropped to 8.8 million on the last day of July, the Labor Department said in its monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey report.
