Market Opens: 

Indian indices opened on a weaker note on August 25 with Nifty around 19,300.

The Sensex was down 417.45 points or 0.64 percent at 64,834.89, and the Nifty was down 117.90 points or 0.61 percent at 19,268.80. About 936 shares advanced, 927 shares declined, and 120 shares unchanged.

UltraTech Cement, Hindalco Industries, M&M, Wipro and Reliance Industries were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, ONGC, Power Grid Corporation and Hero MotoCorp.
