Benchmark indices ended lower on August 25 with Nifty around 19,250 amid selling across the sectors.
Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, ONGC and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers are Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Adani Ports, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid and Larsen and Toubro are among the major losers on the Nifty.
All the sectoral indices ended in the red with capital goods, FMCG, PSU Bank, metal, realty, power down 1 percent each.
BSE Midcap index down 1 percent and Smallcap index down 0.2 percent.

निफ्टी पर बजाज फिनसर्व, एशियन पेंट्स, बजाज फाइनेंस, ओएनजीसी और भारती एयरटेल शीर्ष लाभ पाने वालों में से हैं, जबकि डॉ. रेड्डीज लैबोरेटरीज, अदानी पोर्ट्स, इंडसइंड बैंक, पावर ग्रिड और लार्सन एंड टुब्रो निफ्टी पर गिरने वाले प्रमुख शेयरों में से हैं।
पूंजीगत सामान, एफएमसीजी, पीएसयू बैंक, धातु, रियल्टी, पावर प्रत्येक में 1 प्रतिशत की गिरावट के साथ सभी क्षेत्रीय सूचकांक लाल रंग में बंद हुए।
