The Sensex was down 123.17 points or 0.20 percent at 61,606.51, and the Nifty was down 22.60 points or 0.12 percent at 18,180.80. About 1,234 shares advanced, 1,055 shares declined, and 159 shares were unchanged.

Top losers were Asian Paints, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindalco Industries, M&M and Coal India, while gaiers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Power Grid Corp, Bajaj Auto and NTPC.
