Indian indices opened on flat note on April 25 amid mixed global cues.
The Sensex was down 12.90 points or 0.02 percent at 60,043.20, and the Nifty was down 6.70 points or 0.04percentat 17,736.70. About 1,151 shares advanced, 657 declined, and 97 were unchanged.
IndusInd Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel and Hero MotoCorp were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UPL, HDFC Life, Infosys, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and HCL Technologies.
